The majority of the wood shown is Apple which gives an incredible variety of wood grain and colouring in a single piece.

Cracks and holes in the wood are sometimes filled with coloured epoxy adding lines and window effects.
Chess
The chess pieces are made from Apple (White pieces) and stained beach (Black pieces). The chess board is made from Apple and resin.
Fruit

Christmas
Double turned pine with gilded inside.
The tree is a single piece of Apple with the base stained using wood stain. The Christmas tree decorations are slices of Apple branch then painted.
